What we collect and why

• Your photo: to make your ID photo. Basis: performing our contract with you, and your consent at upload.
• Order details (email, product, price, date, transaction ID): to deliver your purchase, handle refunds and prevent fraud. Basis: contract and legal obligations.
• Technical data (IP address, browser and device info): to keep the site secure and working. Basis: legitimate interests.
• Support messages: to answer your questions. Basis: legitimate interests.

Your photo

With the free Do It Yourself option, cropping and sizing happen inside your browser and your photo never leaves your device.

With the AI option, your photo is sent over an encrypted connection to our background-removal provider, Photoroom (Photoroom SAS, France): once to make the watermarked preview, and again after payment to make your final file. We also send it to an automated checker that looks for problems like sunglasses or a hat. Photoroom processes the photo only to return the result to us, and the result goes straight back to your browser. See Photoroom's privacy policy. We don't keep your photo on our servers. If Photoroom is unavailable, the preview is made on your device instead.

Who we share data with

• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Service providers: Photoroom (background removal) and our website hosting provider.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
• Authorities where required by law.

We never sell your data. Some providers may process data outside your country, under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep data

Photos are not stored by us. Order records are kept only as long as needed for accounting and legal requirements, then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or move your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Email us and we'll respond within one month.

Security

We use encrypted connections and limit access to data to what's needed to run the service.

Cookies

We only use essential browser storage needed for the site and checkout to work. We don't use advertising cookies.
